A Email Testimony of what our LI Jr Ducks Organization is all about!!

"Hello Mr.______, let me start off by saying you're a real class act. How you speak and how you run your organization is exactly what my son has been lacking this past two seasons. Hearing so many good things about you and your organization from different people including Mr. Goldstein from the Skarks who is very good friend of mine and we speak almost on a daily basis. I see now for myself with only a few emails and to try outs. So I thank you for that and your honesty and being forward. It's the only way to be today there's too much BS on the baseball fields. Yes I do remember you as the Mudcats, we played you several times as the New York Lightning and the HHH Hammerheads in the past. Not much has changed but your uniforms. You ran a great team then and you continue to do that now. It's great to see that somebody could still win, have fun and treat parents and players with respect. I thank you once again for being thorough with your last email. Yes you did answer all my questions. Me and my son, especially my son is very excited to have the opportunity to play in your organization. We will see you tomorrow night at BBH... Have a great night."

13u ducks Win War at the Shore, CT

The 13u ducks-Kerman went away to Mystic, Connecticut for the summer beach bash 2014 war at the shore tournament.  The ducks won game 1 on Saturday morning 8-0.  Following the opening win, they fell 12-5 in a tough loss.  Keeping our fingers crossed that we would seed high enough to make it to the playoffs, the Ducks ended up with the 4 seed out of the 5 seeds that made the playoffs.  A tough task of winning 3 straight games on Sunday was ahead.  At 9am on Sunday the 13u Ducks defeated the 5 seed and won 4-3 in a close game.  Anthony Battaglia threw a complete game effort. The ducks went on to play right after at 11:30am against the number 1 seed in the tournament.  Kevin Sambuco also threw a complete game while getting the win 4-1 in the semi-final match.  The ducks went on to play the 3 seed in the championship game and edged out a 1-0 victory to win the championship in a fantastic baseball game.  Reid Smith threw an amazing complete game effort only throwing 76 pitches.  All in all, the ducks played perfect baseball on Sunday winning 3 straight games for a championship.  Other then the phenomenal pitching performances, everybody on this 11 man roster contributed to the victories.  It is not an easy thing to do to win a tournament with only 11 players.  An awesome job to the whole team on there amazing tournament win and season so far.  The ducks improved there Overall team record to 33-12-2 as a team and continue to be a very special group of young men.
