Jr Ducks in the News

PRESS RELEASE

November 2, 2017

Junior Ducks Baseball Organization have reached an agreement with Zoned Sports Academy College Recruiting Program

Islip, NY. & Bridgewater, NJ Zoned Sports Academy is an industry leader in the area of baseball, college recruiting and player placement. Zoned has placed over 500 players in college programs since 2002. As the sports landscape continues to evolve, the Junior Ducks continue to strive to be the leaders in the growth of youth baseball. On November 1st 2017, the Junior Ducks and Zoned Sports Recruiting Services have framed a partnership that will enable players from the Junior Ducks to have the opportunity to progress their academic and baseball careers. The organizations have established a program that will streamline the burden placed on parents and students regarding the process of proper college recruiting and placement.

Former professional baseball player and college coach Tom Caputo, the Director of Baseball Development for the Junior Ducks, “As the Junior Ducks began the process of building a relationship to ensure our players have the opportunity to continue their academic and playing careers we found no company stood out more than Zoned. Their one on one technique and their personal relationships with college coaches throughout the NCAA made them a simple choice.”

Zoned Sports Academy will provide our players and families with numerous recruiting tools as well as information for their future in College Athletics. This program will consist of three phases. The first is a recruiting informational seminar where families will be given information on how to build a resume as well as NCAA rules and regulations. Second, a personal evaluation placing our players on the scope of where they range nationally. Finally, everyone will participate in a private college showcase. “Today is an exciting day for Zoned Sports Academy and college recruiting program teaming up with an elite organization such as the Junior Ducks. An organization with pride in player development and expertise in educating as well as motivating makes them a perfect partner for Zoned.” Duke Baxter, CEO at Zones Sports Academy.

Junior Ducks President Vic Picone states, “This program will provide our players and parents with the proper techniques giving them the advantages needed in the college recruiting process. We are excited about the beginning of this program and know this relationship will grow in years to come.”
