ABOUT CAMP

The Junior Ducks summer baseball camps are back. The official camp partner of the Long Island Ducks professional baseball club. These camps are designed for boy and girls of all abilities ages 5-12. Participates will be instructed by the Junior Ducks professional staff as well as the coaches and players of the LONG ISLAND DUCKS. Each session will include instruction on all aspects of the game.

The camp session will include 3 or 4 days at your designated location plus your exclusive day at Fairfield Properties Ball Park the home of the Long Island Ducks.

The Junior Ducks provide children the opportunity to learn baseball skills from our expert staff in a fun and nurturing environment. Our goal is to teach sport skills through a program that involves repetition and progression. Instruction provides tools that are necessary for developing a strong base of fundamental techniques.

AGES FOR CAMPERS

HALF DAY CAMPERS: 5-6 YEARS OLD 

FULL DAY CAMPERS: 7-12 YEARS OLD

Time and price varies on each camp site. Please read through all our sites to see the exact times and prices.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

Campers bring all their baseball equipment: glove, helmet and bat.  (make sure name is on all equipment) 

Water  - Apply Sunscreen - Suggest wear a baseball hat 

Lunch is not provided - back a lunch and snack for child.

WHAT TO WEAR TO CAMP

Campers can wear full baseball gear or if the day is very hot we recommend shorts and a t-shirt.

We do not supply lunch for the campers. 

Full day campers - Please bring a bag lunch 

Half day campers - Supply a snack

WEATHER UPDATES/POLICY

Weather Policy: If the camp day begins, and we have to call a early dismissal this does count as a camp day. 

​

Weather Updates: Please check our website for all updates - social media and emails. Parents will be called and emailed when there is an early dismissal. 

 

STADIUM DAY

9AM – 1PM  - 3 Court House Dr, Central Islip, NY 11722

(please note camp ends at 1pm on stadium day for both Half Day and Full day Campers | TOT Campers: 9-12pm)

• CONCESSION STANDS AT THE STADIUM WILL NOT BE OPEN 

• Parents are permitted to stay throughout the day and watch as well take pictures! However, NO parent will be allowed to go on the field at any point and time.

• CHECK IN - Campers and parents will check in upon arrival to the stadium. You will receive your Game tickets. 

• CHECK OUT – Campers will be dismissed by age groups. Autograph session will follow. All kids must be checked out before leaving the stadium.
